Friend of mine went to Western Kentucky close to where the devasting tornado came through. He shot this one 3 days ago. That's his 3rd Boone and Crockett buck.
Gun.Gun or bow?
Knowing him, I wouldn't be shocked if it was behind a fence for big money. He did not disclose that info though.great buck. I thought the only thing open in KY. was archery at this point.
They had the late muzzleloader season too but it closed more than 3 days ago.Just checked. Gun season ended November 28th. I need to change the thread title to buddy bought a giant.
He told me he shot it with a 280 REM.They had the late muzzleloader season too but it closed more than 3 days ago.
Didn't have a clue it was a high fence. He left that part out of the story. If you knew he shot a high fence buck why did you post it as any other?

Totally agree. The guy is pushing 80 and he usually kills at least 1 good buck a year up in Hancock County.sorry but high fence hunting aint hunting its shooting if you got enough money to buy the animal. he should go to a pasture and shoot him a bull and take a pic with it
