Anyone use the buddy heater in a ground blind? Does it work out well? Wasn't sure with the open windows how much heat would be retained.

Here's what NOT to do.

Fire the Mr. Buddy up, prop your legs up, set Mr. Buddy under legs, throw blanket over legs, fall asleep.

Waking up from a dead sleep in a blind full of smoke will startle you... just a little.

Just bought a Buddy Heater. I've used it on hunts in shooting boxes with open windows and it is one of the best investments I've ever made for hunting. Saturday morning it was 19 degrees. I fired up the Buddy Heater and literally took off my gloves. It's like cheating!

They work very well. I use mine when take my daughter or any kids on a cold day. Stepping in and out of the blind you can tell a big difference when using one.
