I planted buck wheat early this year. It grew very well and the deer browesed it pritty good. It seeded out and I just disced it over to plant some buck master feeding frenzy.my question is will the buck wheat seed germinate.

Two years ago I had which which made three times and the second time was thicker than the first.

If the second re-seed was thicker than the first your deer weren't hitting it very hard.

I think it has more to do with the timing of the re-disking and proper ground prep. For buckwheat to come back twice as thick only two seeds off of every plant would have to germinate. I would say there is no doubt that the second "planting" will have more seeds going into the ground than the first, just a matter of whether you can get them to germinate.
