Buck sighting...Got a question??

Deer were in full movement this evening! I had previously moved a ground blind out of a section of a field where I�ve been seeing deer (small bucks and does) and have traditionally killed nice bucks in the past. I relocated it to a narrow part of the field between two ridge lines where I would have a more advantageous view of the woods. I still could see the tree line where I previously had the blind but could not see up on the hill.
I watched a 3 point for 30 minutes or so right at dark in the tree line that I could not see from previous spot. As I was walking out back towards the truck I saw a spike and another deer up the hill. Sure enough it was a shooter buck from what I could see. No shot was presented has the buck walked back in the powerline thicket and it was right at dark. I stalked up the hill but did not see the buck. I also did not here it run off from being spooked,etc. Its important to know that a shot would have been presented on the big buck if I would have not moved the ground blind.(It�s been that kind of year for me)
My question is this�� what are your thoughts on this buck visiting this field two evenings in a row?
Its late in the season and they typically come to these fields in the eveing.But I have not seen this buck before. I got tomorrow evening and Friday morning(most likely I will be in woods in the morning on Friday). Thanks for your opinions and sorry about the long post.
 
absolutley right! I just cant decide if I should move my blind back or not? I have a different vantage point up the ridge but I cant see the top of the hay field till im walking back to truck. THats where the big boy came out at.I could have had a shot. However that buck could of easily walked out of the thicket my way. Im thinking ill keep it where it is and just creep out back to the truck.
 
Right now there hungry and its good cold weather if there's food bedding and water close he will be there ..make sure to keep the wind in your favor

Post-rut deer (I assume that's your case) stick to patterns better than in the rut, so that's in your favor.

Also keep in mind that there is often a second, smaller rut for un-bred young does that are just coming into estrous for the first time. This time of year can have folks seeing some "weird" unpredictable behavior that might actually be attributed to that secondary rut behavior.
 
Stay away from that area if you hunt in the mornings. If you spook him it's over. I wouldn't chance moving the blind and disturbing his afternoon pattern. I would either put another ground blind where the previous one was or if u don't have another make a small natural ground blind. Pay attention what the wind direction was the 2 times you saw him.
 
I have sort of the same set up. I have a portable tripod set up in a field where I saw 21 der the last time I hunted it. All my bucks were to the far north of where I was sitting including 1 that I'm pretty sure was a shooter (450 yards away). I still have my tripod in the same spot and if I hunt it and see the same thing the next set up will be at that end of the field. They say the third time's a charm.
