So the bob oats are just as good cause I've had people tell me that this is one thing that that name brand is actually the best
 
I planted Buck oats for about two years then tried bob oats and have not swapped back. They are every bit as good in my opinion.

Can't say I can tell ANY difference whatsoever when I've planted Buck Forage and cheap oats side by side. Deer seemed to like both the same. There's probably some quality control and something a little bit better with the Buck Forage, but they're not worth twice the price for me.
 
bob oats. The deer don't care and who cares if you get a weed or a corn sprout every couple of hundred square feet. You're not harvesting them
 
I tried both and only plant Bob Oats now. One problem I had with Buck Forage was the husk seemed to be bigger on it and it would stop up constantly in my Moultrie spreader even on wide open.
