Who uses them, I am a beginner and for $20 you can't beat em IMO, Double Nasty very nice sounding call-I'm sure it would be better by someone who knows what they are doing but I'm just kinda testing the waters on a few calls, me and Bullzeye pretty much get a new one each month and let each other know how they are. My next one is a Tall Timber single reed I'm thinking I took one out its case today in BPS and hit it sounded good several ppl thought so too as they came over to figure out what was going on :D
 
Never been a fan of Buck Gardner Calls, the lower end ones anyway. I haven't personally blown any of the more expensive buck gardner calls they could be great calls but I just wouldn't know. But I don't like em.

Brandon, I have a good friend that works for buck. I have blown single reed calls all my life until this year. He brought over some of the new BG Reactor calls and that is one sweet double reed call. It is turned acrylic and only 60 bucks. Well worth the money. it is a new designed insert that has a hour glass shape to it. Which is there to help create back pressure and makes it easier to get on the nasty low end. I can't get as many tones out of it as a single reed but it well do. I also have a custom built and tuned single reed coming that want be out till next year. LOL

x2. I think calls and calling are in the ears of the beholder. They are just like cereal. Some folks like Cap'n Crunch, some like Cheerios.
 
Whose your buddy JT? I worked up there sept-nov last year probably know him. I agree with you the best call bucks got right now is the brads reactor. Double nasty is a good call for the money and if your just starting out just grab a mallard magic easiest call to blow and anyone can make it sound like a duck.

Yep that would be the one. I have been taking him hunting since he was 14 years old. And Cache he is pretty dang funny. you should hunt with him and his dad together. The will have you rolling in the blind floor.
 
Good luck with it! Pick up one of bucks instructional CDs while your at it can't hurt and it will walk you through everything to do with a duck call.
