God is good! Was able to get a shot at one of my target bucks and was able to get him down! Monsterbuck07 also hunts with me and he has posted a couple pic threads of this deer. North Alabama buck and I have been after him since the bow opener on OCT 15. They are in rut right now on our place in North Alabama. He was a 13 point but since the season opened and especially in the past two weeks he had broken off some of his points including his main beam that split at the end, he broke it within the past week. Started seeing some chasing going on Sunday and Monday and yesterday afternoon I was able to get him. Sat almost all day and at 415 I had a few does come out onto the food plot and a couple minutes later heard a grunt and saw the buck hop a barbwire fence to my right coming directly for my stand. He was trotting about to go after these does and he walked 10 yards in front of stand and let him get a little to my left and shot him quartering away from me. Not much blood at the shot site or the first part of blood trail so we gave him some more time(had me worrying) but turns out he was only 20 yards at most from where I shot him and where we were standing talking about what we should do and was piled up on a tree line! I hate he broke some off but I am still proud as heck of him! God is good, blessed me with an opportunity and a great buck!

Great buck. Saw him on here earlier this year! Glad you got him! Hate it that he broke his left side off! He is and was a beast!! Oh and nice hat, got one just like it LOL!!

Very nice. Man that dude sure did like to fight! It looks like he broke his brow tine off in a earlier fight and then that main beam later. I wonder who kept kicking his butt.

Thanks guys! and Dbllunger: I was wondering the same thing, I'd like to see the deer that did that to him!

Great buck! Good to know they are starting to run in North Alabama. My Dad has some property in Jackson County that I plan on hitting up during the Christmas season
