I was reading your reply to peeing earlier. my question is this. The area I have been hunting the past 14 years, I have only seen like 2 or 3 scrapes. I have made mock scrapes several times, and peed in them, and I have never had a deer use them. This is he same land I hunt we discussed last year, that we have never seen anything bigger than a basket rack 6 pt. Have hunted there for 14 yrs. What's your thought on this ? Thanks...

You won't see much rubbing or scraping in an area with a very low buck age structure. Yearlings bucks don't act like older bucks. Just like a teenager thrown in to an adult bar, yearling bucks haven't matured enough to know all of the "tricks of the trade" of the rut.
