I hate to say that the theory works (it does) because I don't want to see everyone rush right out and buy one. Being exposed to the levels of ozone produced by such machines for hours every day is quite dangerous. Long-term exposure to ozone can and will damage your lungs permanently. Personally, I would not sit next to a machine for hours as it pumps out ozone, even out in the open.
