BSK-"Quality" 1.5 yr old?

Going by the deer age examples on your post,I'm calling this a "good" 1.5yr old,I've had mixed reviews on this one,what's your thoughts--thanks!

Very possible that he is only a yearling, but considering the date on the picture is mid-September, bucks have not "filled out" for the rut at that time. By late October or early November that buck could have a much larger neck. But certainly he is no older than 2 1/2, and displays many of the body shape characteristics of a yearling. I've heard of yearlings in TN with antlers scoring as high as the mid 120s.

Not counting the neck, the face and head looks rather yearlish
too. Also, the long "colt" looking legs make him appear young. I
would love to see that buck in about 3 more years, if he could
live that long. He evidently has some "head gear" genes.

I think he is a young deer...but leaning more on the 2.5 yr old side. JMO

3 more yrs?? He won't make it that long if he walks past me in late sept.! :D
