I have a BSA on my 30-06 and I have a leupold still in the box... If that tells ya anything... Just cause it cost more only means one thing... You haven't donated enough money to your local charities or church this week!!!! :)

comparing a bsa to a leupold is priceless, and what does price have to do with putting money in the plate at church?

BSA is a rimfire scope at best. But to compare them to Leupold, that's just hilarious. And I never was really fond of Leupold.

calm down guys i was just making a joke about the church thing and what i was saying is i have never had an issue with my bsa so it kind of pointless to me to spend all that money for something when mine works more than fine. to me personally it seems more and more that people are into a status thing nowadays with there firearms and that is fine if all you care about is looking good with your gun but i wanna shoot and i aint spending that kind of bank roll on a piece of glass when i can go to cheaperthandirt.com and get one that does exactly what i need it to do for half the price. so with that said lets all have our opinions and live and laugh about but keep it fun i wasnt trying to start a bunch of argumentative garble.

Try taking that Leupold out of the box. Then you'll understand why a lot of us drop the coin on glass like that. It's not just about performance it's also about durability and longevity. Also things like parallax and eye relief among other things come into play.

the leupold is going on my AR 10 as soon as i get done with it so i will post a review of feeling when i get done with the build and shoot some

Should be more than capable on a 10/22 I would think. Or you could put a $400 Leupold on it.

I had a BSA sweet 17 and the elevation turret would not adjust, so I sent it back and they sent a new one. It would not hold zero from one shot to the next. So I sent it to the garbage.
