Killed a mess of squirrels yesterday and the boss wants this recipe for supper tonight. So I'm working on this recipe today. Will post a photo of the finished product! Hopefully it's edible !

So I'm changing the recipe up. I'm using squirrel broth made from boiling the squirrel tender. I browned the squirrel in bacon grease, salt pepper and onion. Cooked it down for a couple hours and now I have boneless squirrel and squirrel broth. That's were I'm at now.

We make Burgoonu up here which is real similar and also has no real true recipe that I can find. Couple years ago we made some with squirrel, deer & something else I can't remember. Anyway we cooked it in a big cast iron pot over a homemade grill with an open fire. Definitely want to do it again this year

We usually make a form called mulligan stew, same stuff really. You put everything but the kitchen sink in it!

I bet it tastes as good as it looks!
I take a empty kureg coffee box, cut the lids to make dividers like a Six pack, put quart bags in and fill up with stew. Set whole box in freezer overnight, next day take out 6 square quarts and stack them in freezer like bricks.
