Browning sliver stock removal?

I need to take the stock off my Browning Silver.
I assume the screw / bolt is accessed by removing the cap on the bottom of the grip on the stock.

Does it just pop off or does it slide?
Scared to force it too much.

Can't get it to slide in any direction and popping it off is the only option I see.
Just not sure though.

Anyone know?

That gun has an action tube inside the stock. Remove the recoil pad and you will see a nut that is threaded on that tube. Remove the nut then slide the stock off.
