Browning Safety Question

I have an A-Bolt Medallion in .270. Love the gun, but one thing I am a little picky about is the safety locks the bolt in place. Which is fine in many instances, but I cannot load or unload the gun without first taking the safety off. Is there a way to safely change this? I would like to be able to load and unload my gun while the safety is still engaged. My rem 700 performs this just fine.

No, to my knowledge there is no way to change this on the A-Bolt.

No way I know of either. Not a Problem for me in fact I prefer that safety over any other by its location. Drop floor plate with magazine point gun in safe direction safety off open bolt remove round close bolt close floor plate.

That's the way I do it and I love location just dont like that I have to take the safety off before loading or unloading. More of a mental thing for me than anything. Thanks for the info.
