had this gun along time. its an autoloader 10 gauge, has seen a couple of cases of shells through in its life. I always have it cleaned at the end of the season so it has been well maintained.

yesterday though it kept jamming. It would not cycle the spent cartridge out and would hang with the shell coming in from the magazine. after I finally cleared the jam I noticed that the bolt will not lock anymore. really wanting to use this gun on Saturday in the blind and I don't think my gunsmith could get to it today. does anyone have any advice on what would cause the action to not lock rearward anymore?

thank you

Do you guys know of any reason why this gun is all of sudden jamming?

I had the recoil spring and the rings replaced before season but it is jamming way to much this year.

I am shooting the same shell that I always have. Win DryLok BBB.

Does your chamber need cleaning? Also, check the extractor finger for wear or damage.... maybe it can't "grab" the brass lip and pull the hull out.

Then I would check the shells.... try some new ones.... I have had some shells swell up over time and be hard to feed into the chamber.

Tore the gun down this evening.

Figured out why the bolt wouldn't go back....The stock bolt assembly was broke, the sealant had rotted out and it showed serious wear. Ordered new parts from Brownells, guess I will use the 12 gauge this weekend.

I appreciate all the info guys. Thanks again
