I HAVE TWO QUESTIONS ABOUT SEVERAL BUCKETS OF BROKEN PIECES I HAVE FOUND. I ONLY PICKED UP PIECES ON THE SURFACE ON PRIVATE LAND. #1 ARE THEY LEGAL TO SELL. #2 HOW SHOULD I PRICE THEM?

They are legal to sell, but wouldnt bring much money unless they are from the paleo/early archaic time which is unlikely being found on the surface. For a rough guess maybe do 5 pound bags for 20 or so bucks, some knappers like to take and reshape the old broke pieces. JMO

if they are paleo pieces even if broke they demand premium prices common points like that bring about 100 buck per 5 gallon bucket from common flint knappers
