I've been fortunate enough to kill several turkeys the past few years and want to try to take one with my bow this year. What do yall think the best broadhead is to effectively kill a turkey.

The correctly placed broadhead. :)

Seriously, the broadhead doesn't matter. It's about shot placement. I would lower your draw weight so the arrow will not pass through the bird.

However, I use old rage broadheads.

I am leery of what the arrow might do to the meat, so I won't go any wider than my thunderhead 100s.

Don't use an expandable one for sure, 7/8 or 1" is adequate. I cut one in half last year. Was deer hunting and couldn't swap shafts.

I would be psyched if I was drawn back and had a bird come to 5 or 10 yards, then I could just take off the head. :D

I use NAP spitfire for deer and rage for Turkey. I have had good luck even when a rage don't open on a Turkey. Not so lucky with them on deer.
