A friend called to get help planting his 2, 5 acre plots.I asked what we were planting ,he said wheat,turnips,clover.My first response was ,OH CRAP!Thats a lot of hand seeding.He says ,I thought we would use your Moultrie spreader.Then I told him about that small of seed running through that kind of spreader much to fast.So any way,I show up,figuring on doing a lot of walking.He says,Ive got a plan,Were gonna mix the small seed in your spreader,one pound to a 40 lb bag of lime.I didnt think it would work,but it worked GREAT,we even placed a few t shirts out randomly,after I went over them we checked.It looked good,seed and lime mixed real well.Thats BRILLANT!We would have walked all day!

When i was a kid my dad used to mix clover with wheat and pour a coke over it and mix it all together. Coke get sticky and clover sead sticks to wheat seed.

If the clover is innoculated,coke would affect the coating I believe.
