A half a game separates the braves and the mets for the division. They still have 3 games against each other. probably will decide the division.

Braves came back down 10.5 games to tie the division yesterday. If you are a big time braves/baseball fan like myself we are in for a treat over the next month watching that race.
 
Fun team to watch....but the pen makes me nervous ...The bats and defense is fun to watch...so much young talent!....hope the starting pitching stays healthy....Chop on!

This team is loaded and all the main guys are signed for a long time. Austin is turned into a stud and Olsen has exceeded my expectations. Harris is a future star. And Acuna is Acuna.

Braves just keep pulling star rookies outta nowhere lol when they gave up that minor league catcher and minor leather center fielder in the Olsen deal people was going crazy saying we just gave up the future.... then Harris and Contreras come out of nowhere and have been way better then the catcher/outfielder the braves traded.....Then Strider his been a stud....and now Vaughn Grissom he had 0 AAA at bats comes to the big and killing it.
 
The late September games are the best...I was there when they won the division last year.

Agree let's speed up baseball by adding a dumb rule that only gets used in a few overtime games. Then turn around and slow it back down by adding coach challenges and booth replays.

Wait until the the new rules kicks in next year; wider bases, no extreme shifts in the infield, and pitcher/batter.

Yeah I don't understand the wider bases? And on the shift...I bet some managers will shift an outfielder into a gap...they may get burned trying it...but it very well may work because very few hitters today are able to hit against the shift? And apparently the majority of hitters can't bunt?....a strategic bunting will stop the shift....they are giving you the base.....but yet everyone continues to hit into the shift? It's crazy?.....Go Braves!
 
For the division....Braves backs are against the wall..... really need to win tonight with Fried on the mound....that would tie us back up....one game at a time....tall order to fill...but not impossible....Chop on!

That is something I have never understood. To beat the shift all you got to do is lay down a bunt. I was screaming when the Braves didn't bunt to move the runner over and take their chances with 2 outs to go.
