Part of our property was sold so I had to move stands, including a 4x4 10ft, box blind. No easy task. Took my tractor and a 4 wheeler to bring it down. I put it back up by myself with the tractor, so I thought I'd pass along how I accomplish this. I basically drive a couple of non-heavy duty fence posts into the ground and line it with a 2x12 (smaller would work). This keeps the blind from sliding when raising it. As usual, the bucket helps as I can get some height on the strap without having to add a vertical board. Usually I dig holes for the corner posts, but since I lost some height cutting this one down, I set the corner posts on blocks for leveling. I dig additional holes and attach to blind using landscape timbers. Not shown in this pic is some additional angled bracing, as I wasn't sure how long the concrete would setup since its dry as a bone here.
