LCU's comments about "off brand" bows got me thinking about all the bows I have owned over the years , and the deer I have killed with each and every bow I have owned .
I started out shooting archery in the mid 70's shooting dad's Bear recurve . I started bowhunting in 1980 with dad's Jennings Sidekick . I took several deer with it , and bought one of the first PSE cam bows on the market in 1983 . Bought a PSE dealer bow in 1985 , then a High Country Trophy Whitetail in 1988 . A Hoyt Proforce Extreme in 1990 . Continental Appalachian in 1993 . PSE Fireflight Lightning cam in 1997 , Mathews FX in 2003 , 2006 Whisper Creek Innovator staff bow , 2006 Whisper Creek Innovator Pro prototype ,2007 Kodiak Outdoors Titan 34 ,Mathews Conquest Pro , Mathews LX ,2007 PSE Mach X , my current favorite bow .
I have killed deer with every bow , and it made no difference what brand was on the limbs .
