10" off the gunnels and held in place by 8 bolts. Everything is completely removable. It's 76" long and 68" wide at the end. Ended up with 8 150 watt HPS lights up front, wired to a single junction box and switched two times. Got the foam interlocking pads from lowes for padding and held it down with Rhino grip adhesive (great stuff!)
Slapped a 70# Minn Kota Maxxus on and ran 6\2 marine grade wire back to the batteries. Ended up using anderson connectors for plugs and glad I did, those things are bullet proof!
Running the lights off a 3500\4000 watt Champion genny, but added a 24v converter. Basically, if I have gas in the genny, I've got power for my troller...no more charging troller batteries!!
After the test run, it's perfect and works just as planned. Long build, but well worth it.
