My neighbor wanted his grass carp removed from his pond because they were to big. He allowed that once there so big there not as effective at eating algae. I gladly ran to the house and grabbed my bowfishing rig. 1 down 1 to go this one was 52lb.
 
BIG guy right there!

You can fillet through the bones on those and pressure cook them, then roll the softened meat into breaded patties. Tastes like salmon patties. Also a good use for various kinds of fish-based dips to put on crackers and such. Probably other good ideas floating around out there. Give it a try if you have the time.

holy smokes I will catch the other one on a spinning rod if you dont mind :D they put up a heck of a fight. Mudbone just doesnt understand, he only knows how to catch bass :D

We shot a couple of 30 lb'ers last year and my buddy cleaned them both when we got back to the dock. He filleted them and then cut them into steaks. He grilled them. Super white, flaky meat and he said he would gladly take all of'em we shoot!!
