I had the opportunity to actually use the Last Chance press and I really liked it. Right now, it is #1 on my list to buy. It was so much easier to adjust to the bow than the Bow-A-Constrictor press was. Last Chance is also at all the ASA shoots which is a nice thing too. What are ya'lls thoughts about Last Chance presses? Good? Bad? If I get one of theirs, it will be the one with the wheel on it. I think that will be my b-day present to myself this year.

I thought you had a press and sold it.

^^agreed , and Bobby's invention is a must if you get one .
 
I had a Bow-A but without any of the accessories to make it beneficial. My buddy at Sneaky Outdoors had the Bow-A with all the bells and whistles and was just 10-15 mins away so I sold my press and would go use his. It was nice having the draw board accessory and all that in one piece. Chris closed his shop and moved to Utah. So now I'm out of commission. The Bow-A is a good press if you have the extras but otherwise, the Last Chance press is easier and faster to setup.

Man that sucks. I'm kinda spoiled with Energy Wave. Matt has got my Hoyt Spyder through yoke tuning shooting awesome. Hope he doesn't shut down either :D
 
Chris was a good guy. I really liked going in there and tried to support him staying around. I got a text message from him saying that if I wanted anything from the shop, to let him know and that he was closing shop and moving out west. He likes it out west; when he was in the military he was over there for a bit and when he got out, he went back out there for a while and worked. So now he is getting ready to be chasing bull elk out that way. He kept his bow press; that was the first thing I said I wanted. I ended up getting a few other odds and ends. But long story short, now I'm bow pressless. I picked up a lot of tuning knowledge from him along the way though.
 
You have to pay close attention to adjusting the limb press fingers while pressing and un-pressing the bow. I have seen more than one wrecked bow squirt out of the press. With the EZ Press you must be every vigilant about allowing the bow to plummet to the floor below as you relax the press!

Through the end of the year you can buy the X-Press Pro with stand shipped free for $599.00! That's a huge saving of over $900.00. I am seriously considering adding the X-Press Pro to my quiver of archery tools!
