Do you shoot with one eye open or both looking through your peep sight?

Used to be 1 eye. I tried keeping both eyes open and it works just as well plus you can see an animals reaction to the shot much better instantly.

1 eye open and one closed with any weapon, but I am cross eye dominant, this is just how I learned to compensate for it.

I squint with my left eye on everything except scoped rifles. Then, it's both eyes fully open.

My father qualified as an expert marksman US Army 1945. He taught me shoot with both eyes open. Ever since shooting a Red Ryder since I was 8 years old I shoot everything with both eyes open. I shoot my bow with both eyes open.
