Look close, I cropped it down some. Just to his left, your right, is the trail I walked in on. I stopped to pee about six feet from where he is standing. He is about 12-yards from me when I took this with POS Olympus that I carry to throw at squirrels. I shot it one-handed. On second look, he is standing in the trail.
More info: he is upwind slightly. I am 10-ft off the ground. He stayed around me in various places for maybe five minutes.Ten minutes after I last saw him, a small six came by on the same trail but busted me when I tried to get the camera out of pocket.
Best of all, great weather to shoot a football game this afternoon with a real camera.

It is. It can a little tedious when you don't. I was trying to think yesterday, I'm not sure I have hunted this year and not at least seen deer. I've only gone about 10-times and killed five deer,a turkey and missed a turkey...well not quite a total miss, just feathers. So, so far, it has been a pretty good year. I'll just mess around the rest of the year.
You have had a lot better year then me. I have been a bunch the deer are still winning I am still a big zero lol but I really am having fun trying to learn.
I peed out of mine this morning as well....you gotta be careful though....and not pee on the ladder....pretty sure only a couple of drops hit my boots....20 min later I killed a 9 pt.
