That's good to know! Thanks Lynn! I may run back up there in the morning and get a couple more and throw them in the freezer. I'm gonna make some Cuban mojo pork with one tomorrow. I stuck the other in the freezer for the smoker at a later date.

I also found a good deal on charcoal across the road at Ollie's. The Good Charcoal natural lump charcoal for $6.99 a bag. I had never heard of it before but after reading a few reviews and seeing the price at Walmart, I may stock up on a few more bags of it as well.

Pork butts or charcoal? Probably still 8 pork butts at Food Lion. Ollie's had a couple pallets of the charcoal, straight ahead, after walking through the door.

I picked up 4 butts and several packs of chicken thighs(1.59) and breast (1.79) at food lion on this end. I may go get a couple more butts, there were plenty in stock here.

I picked up two more butts this morning. They still had plenty. Ollie's wasn't open yet to get anymore of the charcoal and I didn't feel like killing time for an hour.

I do not know if they will go through with it but...China supposedly cancelled 12000 metric tons of pork ordered with American processors. If this comes to pass Pork should be cheap for awhile in the near future.

I hope the commies cancel a bunch of beef orders too! It'd be nice to get some ribeyes and brisket at halfway affordable prices again! 😂

In all seriousness, I do love to find a good deal and save some money at the grocery store. But, if what you say is true, that'll just hurt America's pork producers more than anybody.
