Guided Tyler from Richmond, VA today looking for striped bass on Boone. Well we found a few stripes, but neither of us expected this lunker that came on a double hook up!!!

All fish were released other than one small stripe that wouldn't swim off. Notice the greenfish sticker ;)

I didn't notice anything but the big large mouth. Thats great that you practice catch and release. That looks like a awesome way to catch those big stripers. Dang I would like to try it.

Who cares if he let the big bass go? Looks like it would have been a good one for the wall. This is going to turn the deer forum, if it is legal and you want to keep it, keep it.

Amen HH! If the resource couldn't stand the harvest then the resource managers wouldn't allow it.

and another thing about that. those fish only live so long and most of those lunkers are near the end of their lifecycle.

nice fish either way.
