Sources close to the program confirmed Carter's suspension stems from multiple team violations — including breaches of the athletic department's conduct policy and an undisclosed issue related to team accountability measures. While the university has not officially released specifics, insiders cite a "pattern of behavior inconsistent with team culture and NCAA compliance."

Many of these athletes are absolute thugs. High school bends the rules for them to graduate, colleges bend the rules/massages the grades and numbers to keep them. It's all a show.

Meanwhile it becomes damn near impossible for a good student in TN to attend UTK based on grades and merit… sorry it's a little silly IMO. We are rewarding all the wrong things in this country.

Lived in Knoxville 1986-2022. That punishment takes the cake even with all the crap those athletes have done. That even beats Bruce Pearl's boys getting caught with weed and pistols with the numbers filed off, or the crash involving one of Fulmer's boys in a brand new Expedition….

Catch the stars and threw them in the trash if it's true.

That's cute.. Why is it that these vol helicopter moms and dads "think" they are running the football programs? You DON'T hear that crap out of of top tier schools like ALABAMA , Florida , LSU and OSU just to name a few. WHY? Because they have their parents check that crap at the door.
