Ive been wonderin does anyone see bobbys anymore. Ive been wantin to kill one but cant find em any tips

I killed my first one last year while deer hunting,and it was the first one I had ever seen too.Then I started coyote hunting after deer season and I called 2 in one day.Only had a shot at 1 and missed it.Right over its back.I still kick myself for that one.Sorry no tips,just get lucky I guess!

Called this female in last Jan. 85 yards with the CZ 204 with a 40gr Vmax.

I've seen one while hunting Washington Co. and two in Unicoi in the past three years while deer hunting.
I've never actively gone hunting for them but did kill one during deer season around 2003 or 2004 in Humphreys county. Had one in my crosshairs at 30 yards again during deer season in 2007 if I remember correctly. Didn't want to mount another one so I let it go. This was in Dekalb county. I've also seen several in Rhea county so from what I'm seeing they are thriving, expanding, and doing quite well. I never saw one growing up and the one I killed was the first one I'd ever seen in the wild except for some in Alabama and we weren't allowed to shoot those.
I have seen 4 during this deer season. I am ready to get to calling for them in the morning.

I have killed these 2 while deer hunting in Montgomery Co and called in 3 last yr in Cumberland all 3 are still living!!!

I saw a couple of bobcats this year. it had been years since i had seen one in the woods. If you are going to try calling them tie a wing (quail, dove, whatever) or turkey feathers to dangle from a tree branch somewhere out in front of you. This will draw the cats attention as it comes in. The movement will also entice them in. Use the call of your choice and learn from experience.

As long as you stay off bone you are ok with the 40gr. But if I was hunting cats only I would load only the 35gr and lower. I hunt coyote as well so the 40gr is what I normally use. The 40gr on this cat made a pin size entry and a small dime size exit. I hit her perfect.
