A local guy mounted this bobcat for a guy at work.

Thoughts?

Mine just got sewed up 3 hours ago and it looks better wet and not preened to me.

my thoughts are that bobcats must be THE MOST difficult mount to pull off. With that said, that is definitely a good example of why I think that. I would be pizzzed if it were mine. I'm fortunate enough to have a beautiful bobcat on my wall even though I did not kill it.

It appears to be an altered form. Beautiful work though, I know a guy in Montana that mounts hundreds of cats (african, mountain, bob, etc). He is top notch and a true artist.

WOW...that's really bad looking bobcat. I had a buck i killed a few years back that looked about like that. made the guy redo it. he wasn't happy but in the end, the difference was huge.

Here's a bobcat i killed just across the state line in VA last year. Just got it back last month. Had him mounted just like he was when i shot him.
