Just got an E mail from Bob Pope, he has sold his gun shows to RK shows, he says he has retired. He always had some good collectors come to his shows.

Yes it is sad................ They seem to be pushing the real gun shows out. I know first hand this is a very crooked, greedy organization. They are not even from Tennessee,so they can care not about tennesseans.just the money., i think Iowa or somewhere

Please elaborate... If PM if you would like.. I have been setting up at their shows for several years and have never had a problem with them. I would much rather set up at one of their shows then at some of the others I have delt with... I set up at about a dozen show a year her in TN and in Georgia...

BTW for such greedy people they are holding a 2000 table show in atlanta in three weeks and all of the earnings are going to the NRA. The other guy who runs shows in Georgia found out they were having a big show so he changed the date of his to be on the same weekend trying to mess them up...

Yes they have Jerky, and other stuff. However, I have not been to one that does not except for small "collector" shows... (which I really like) It is really bad to give them a hard time for he same things all of the other big show do....

I have my opinions about that group too 1/2 the tables are junk and stuff......last gun show they had in Smyrna they had some kids in football uniforms coralled up talking to them like dogs........come to find out they were passing flyers out for a fundraiser they were having and it was going to "cut" into thier buisness. The bad thing about it the cop they employ for their Smyrna shows just sat there and watched. Yea they look crooked. Guys walking around in black "RK" shirts, all covered in tattoos ,rotting teeth, shaved heads, there enforcing the rules, from the apperance I would bet that most of those clowns running the show cannot legally own a gun anyway. If there were other shows around I would go and avoid them, but they have the market cornered, and sounds like Bob Pope also gave up.

The last RK show I went to in Smyrna had lots of guns ammo and gear. I got in free with one of the little orange pieces of paper :D Speciality Arms II out of Lavergne was even at the show I went to. I got out with about $240 worth of stuff that I only paid $96 for! I would never go to Franklin for the Pope show...when his base was Smyrna I went every three months or when he had them. He went to Franklin where the regular Franklin folks wanted Browning Superposed scatterguns and all they got was marked down Remington 870's...who woulda figured he'd go under ;)

Can't have a gun show without a vacuum cleaner salesman can we? That takes the cake, go to a gun show and some clown selling vacs, tablelamps, and or romance books. It's crazy. Same thing alot of the time at boat and RV shows. Last boat show I went to some idiot was there giving away free vacations to Florida. This type of activity should be against the Law!!

Why should I PM ? nothing secret about my opinion , Everyone should know. If you like them and support them then that is your choice. The post earlier on here about them messing with some kids is true, I was the one who brought them to the Smyrna show from Hickman county by request from a Parent/Booster Club President who had a E mail from these folks saying it was ok to pass flyers and it is great to support the kids. Well your buddies in black treated me like I was some terrorist, told me I was cutting into thier lively hood, and made me leave with the 7 kids I took down there as a favor to the booster club.I tried to explain, but you can explain logic to a gorilla. They are SCUM. One of our kids your buddies in black "shook up" Dad went back to Smyrna the next day.. never heard what happened but the parent was not happy. Very bad people. And if you believe that junk about them promoting a giant show to give all the cash raised to the NRA then you must also believe puff the majic dragon lives by the sea.

That does suck however I wonder if this was just a bad deal with that show. Never have seen a Gang of RK Black Shirts around the local ones here.

I also know shows have rules for "kids" don't know what RK's is but that might have been the casue of the problem.
