I don't have the link but Bob Hodge wrote a column on this years deer harvest (with numbers) in today's sports section of the Knox News Sentinel. According to his numbers we had a heck of a year and killed a lot more bucks under the new limit than we did last year.

Hodge reiterated what was posted here after the season closed, which is that a little over 2000 more antlered bucks were killed in the 2015 -2016 season than in the 2014 - 2015 season. He used the same data from the TWRA Hunters Toolbox that has been referenced here. I'm not sure why, but Hodge chose not to comment on the big drop in the antlerless buck harvest or the increase in the number of hunters that harvested an antlered buck. I guess he felt those numbers weren't worth mentioning in his article or he just wasn't aware of them.
