Bob cats, Yotes, and much more!!!!

Is there any bob cats in at the Cheatham County WMA? And does any one know if the yote hunting is any good there is time of year? I am really wanting to kill one. Also while I'm at it what do you all think about using a .243 for varmint hunting is this to big of a round? If any one has any land I can go hunting with them or by myself in middle TN that would be awesome. I have never killed any varmints and am looking forward to getting a yote and a cat so I can get them mounted!

dont know about the wma info your wanting but a 243 is not to big. if your wanting to keep the hide it might damage it some but other than that a 243 is a good round.

I don't think u can use a centerfire on a wma for yotes, outside of rifle deer season

fox is year round in Smith Co.

bobcat closed on the 28th as well as fox but yotes still open and I'm going to hit the wma with my shotgun sometime between now and turkey season and see if I can lay the smack on my first yote. good luck to you with the 243.
