I just bought a bass tracker 17' and bought a battery today. There are a few things that don't work so I figured I'd start with wiring. The fuse panel looks shot. Where do you find wiring schematics and how much does it cost to have someone do it?

The wiring on a boat like yours is so simple no schematics are needed. If you want to replace the fuse panel just follow the - and + wires back from each item on your boat to the fuse panel and connect. If the wires are concealed connect a new wire to the old and pull.
Most common issue with boats is not a proper ground.

There is a forum much like this one called tinboats.net that has about any info you can think of on it for aluminum boats. Pretty good group of guys. Chances are someone has done the job you want to do and has a video or detailed write up of what they did on there. Some pretty crafty fellows over there.
