Boat trailer

I have never bought a boat trailer and need some advice. Guy has a used recently painted(still some rust) 15ft trailer for sale with the following:
-Hand crank wench
-Hand crank wheel-jack
-2 carpet running boards
-Rubber rolling wheels up the center
-Light wiring looks good (he does not know if it works)
-1 7/8 inch ball
-Wheels have stem for greasing
-Spare tire mount with tire looks dry rotted
Says he wants 300 but will take 250. My neighbor said it was a good trailer but not worth 250.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I had one at my brothers house and it was for a 14 ft boat. Sounds just like what you described and he barely got 50.00. So i'd say keep looking.

it depends on the trailer accesories too bud... is the wench and stuff new looking? Or is it something you'd have to replace?
