Boat Restoration

Well, like I have said before it has got to be kind of a hobby for me. Buy a boat make it look and run better then sell it. This ones motor and exterior were great but the inside needed some work. So here is the slow progress so far, baseball season is getting close so longer practice, 19 month old, and pregnant wife keep me busy.

Bought it like this



Using old top floor as a new base layer for battery and gas can



Adding a bench seat that I'll make using an old bench press seat



Lay out floor with cardboard



It's coming together, if your looking for a boat it'll be in classifieds in about a month. Then it's on to the next one.

that's looking good, I might be doing some work on my boat this year too. But not that extensive. What do you use to treat the wood? Is thompson water seal not going to hold up?

No sure yet

May use some fiberglass resin

Still debating, usually I use marine grade plywood....but that's not cheap
