My last boat was a 24 foot Sea Sport we used in the ocean for halibut, rockfish, and salmon. We owned it for many years and across the cabin in 5 inch tall custom letters was the name "Bite Me".
It never failed to get compliments when we were at the boat launch.

My cousin has a little green Jon boat we call "frogger" That thing might be little, ugly and cheap but it's pulled A LOT!!!!! of fish outta the lake last few years.

I call mine the Boll Weevil on account of I spent some time at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Our mascot was the Boll Weevil.

My 21 foot Allison was named by my friends for me.. They called her No Fear. Because I had none when behind the wheel. With just me and gear and gas she would gps at 96.6 mph.
riding in an Allison boat was definitely one of the most scared times I have EVER had in my life!!

My Gheenoe is an Olive drab color, kind of military, so I named it after the ship my dad was on during WWII (USS Pelias).

I found a website that made military badges, and they re-created the official logo of the Pelias, "Polly Pelio". The original was designed by a Walt Disney artist in 1943, and you can tell:

Had a hydra sport tunnel hull with a Bridgeport.... Wife (then girlfriend) was scared to death of it... Named it "Show Off". 92.2gps
Also had an 86 hydra sport 15.5ft aero cobra with a cracked out tower on it. It would chine walk the poop right out of your pants.... Around 80-81mph I couldn't stand it no more.... Called It "Tiny"
Had a Gambler I named "Allison" as a joke....
Now I have an aluminum boat

Some of ya'll are obviously crazy.
NO WAY I would go that fast on the water. Not twice anyway.

How do ya'll find pants?

I have a friend with a Bullet bass boat that has been radar clocked in the 90s. When I ride with him, I know he is an EXPERT driver, but even he can't account for all the boat wakes or logs right under the water.

I then go back to the Josey Wales movie where his Indian partner says "this is a good day to die", and become reasonably relaxed. I haven't had a chance to do a tournament with him in a while, so most of my rides are more in the 70s.

LOL @ scn.

stretch got a new friggin rocketship boat last year.
He is what I would call an expert driver as well, but I ain't looking forward to this spring.
About 30 mph is plenty for me.

Oddly enough, give me a motorcycle and I will tell you what it is capable of and think nothing of it.
Probably alot more dangerous than a boat.
Go figure.

The name I call my boat depends on whether or not it starts. I have several names I call it. Sometimes I string them together and say them very loudly while I beat on it with a paddle.
