I built my first boat blind last year. It was a learning experience for sure.
That's the only photo I have of it. I was still working on framing it out at that point. It was a little too hard to set up once on the water and you had to have 2 people to do it, at least and the top was too open.
I was determined to redo the entire thing this year. I had 2 goals: extra emphasis on concealment and one person set-up. The first blind I used conduit for the frame. It's light but it will sag easily and drilling even holes is a pain. This year I went all square tubing, aluminum 1/8" wall and some steel 16ga. After 2 months of working a few hours a day it's just about ready.
After the football game goes off I plan to pull it out of the shop and finish painting some of the grass. I'll snap some better pictures then.
