So, just went outside to the back field, and I see a pig by the tree line… we have plenty of farm animals around but not pigs. Went back inside and grabbed my binos to take a closer look. It was a freakin wild sow!!! Looks pregnant too. This is the first time I've seen a wild boar around my place let alone around Dickson County.

let me know what you guys think, am I crazy or isn't this a wild pig?? Video from my phone attached
 
Pot belly pig , I think. people buy them little as pets and when they get too big turn them loose. I used to have one in my old neighborhood like that.

Couple questions:

More than likely--who would the "baby-daddy" be? (Insert wisecracks here)

Another pet Pot-Belly? A Domesticated, a Feral?

If this sow were to continue to roam wild, would her offspring go "feral" the way Domesticated hogs can?

How would TWRA "manage" this sow and her offspring if she remained wild?
 
TWRA would advise you to remove it from the wild, one way or another! I don't think she is pregnant, her teets aren't even starting to fill out! But I could be wrong!
If she is pregnant, your worries will get a lot more numerous! Possibly out of control!
She's got to go ASAP!
 
If that was a genuine wild pig, it would have been moving at lightspeed, considering the presence of the other guy holding the phone walking towards it, and you also taking video of it in plain view of the pig. Wild pigs don't hang around long when they see people. "Gone in a flash!" That one was too slow to be wild.

I also vote, "Someone's pet."
