They needed to be just a tad sweeter but still really good. Next batch will be even better. Going to be good with coffee in the morning!!

I wanted a lot of blueberries so they would bleed through

Looks real good.

i do mine from the Alton Brown recipe. I use vanilla flavored yogurt and it makes a difference. Tried Peach yogurt yes, made a difference. Tried dried cranberries threw them away.

None of the boxed goods or bisquick, none of them, can even come close and I have tried really hard. Last summer the garbage truck came by and the guys were sweating something fierce. I got the attention of the driver and came out with a plate of fresh that morning blueberry muffins and wife behind me carrying 6 plastic bottles of cold water.

About 15 minutes later my front door bell rings. Its the driver of the garbage truck. A fairly large man. neatly trimmed beard. He stuck his hand out and said thank you. I shook his hand and told him I'm fresh out of muffins. He was still laughing when the truck pulled away. Still beeps his horn every time he passes my house.
