Man I like to grow my blueberries. Struggled with em for a couple seasons. Got it together now. I grow them in mostly peat moss with a little topsoil. About a 80/20 soil mix. There in 12 inch raised beds with mulch on top. Just nailed some 2x12s together. I water them everyday when it is really hot. First year I started doing this they went from 1 foot tall to 4 foot in one season. Used to use bird netting but now just use fencing and a fence top/cap.

I grow about 10 different types. Top hat, jersey, and blue bonnet are the only ones I can remember off hand. Really like the pink blueberries very sweet. All of them are really tasty though. I think growing many different kinds turned out the best. Birds used to eat most of them till I caged em. Bugs never mess with them so no need to spray. They prefer loose soil. They are really a low maintenance plant. Very extremely acidic loose soil and you will have great results.
