Blowing my neighbor's mind

My neighbor is tilling for the third time. He offered me his big rear tine tiller for the second time over the weekend but I think I may not ever bother with tilling again.

I decided it was about time to get some plants in the ground tonight. I set and caged 8 tomatoes, 5 peppers, and a 6 pack of asparagus before he finished his first trip down and back. Time to let the soil work for me and reap the bounty in a few months.

The sight of my garden is a shock to him, but it works.

lol yeah my neighbor keeps stopping by and asking me what is that i am crimpimg down.

the guy up the road is constantly tilling his garden and the soil has turned into a slimy, sandy mess.

i need to get my tomatoes and peppers out tonight, been to wet and with the cold snap coming it may be 2'weeks before i can start warm weather seeds.

Well I couldn't stand it. I put some seed in this afternoon. I set a row of beans, corn, and spaghetti squash. On half of it, I just mashed the seed in.

We'll see what happens. Worst case I replant the rows next week when it warms back up.

I wasn't satisfied with my crimping so I push mowed it over the weekend.

I just planted a couple more rows and found corn and squash seedlings so maybe I won't have to touch the first rows up too much.
