I don't claim to be an expert, but it looks like both to me. Dark blood looks like liver but it definitely seems to have some stomach matter. That's easy to imagine with a quartering-to shot. Entrance slightly aft gets liver and exits through the guts. I've recovered a couple with similar hit. Just give him plenty of time.

Yeah, I had one similar a couple of years ago. Got a bit of back side of lung entrance, liver/gut exit. Waited about 3 hours to start after him(took a little while to even find the first blood), found him 45 mins or so later, was in last throes of life at that point. Glad he was expiring then, or I'd have probably never found him.
