Blind Draw Question

On a TN duck blind drawing, do they draw names for each blind, or do they draw a name and ask which blind you want?
Also, when they say that you must have your "sign-ons with you", what does that mean? Is a sign-on a person that has the right to kick others out of the blind, like a co-owner I guess?

Names are drawn then you pick which blind you want.. And yes sign-ons get a card just like you, as many people can sign on as you want, and have the right to the blind as long as they are there before legal shooting time.. After shooting time has passed you or any other cardholders cant kick anybody out of the blind

To add on to the OP's question, if i wasn't selected for a blind I imagine i would have a pretty good chance at snagging one on a weekday as a lot of people can't hunt then right? As long as the person isn't there by shooting hours I'm good to go right?

That would be correct. If a card holder isn't in the blind by legal shooting time, they cannot force you out legally.

Many times on a weekday cardholders will show up with little time to spare. Having your decoys out and being set up prior to shooting light is frowned upon unless you have a card to the blind.

Most of the draw blinds will already be decoyed out. It will be motion decoys you will be putting out at the last minute.

This is not true, 80 percent of people pick up decoys every day.

The ones I have seen and hunted at Reelfoot and Camden have stayed decoyed all season unless they had to pick up due to rising water and too short of decoy strings.

Depends on where you hunt, how many are needed, how good a blind it is, river or food hole, etc. etc... If I had a blind at reelfoot or one of those places out west I wouldn't pick up 500-1000 decoys ever day either..
