Ok so you get drawn for a blind.
The way I understand it you sign on a certain number of people with you?

Are these the only ones that can hunt it?

How many do you sign on?

What's the use of signing people on ?

Thanks from a knee bootin rookie.

Only my second year doing this, but this is what I gathered last year.

We had 4 or 5 in our group and all sign on if one of us gets drawn, keeps us from having to build more than one blind if it needs to be rebuilt.

What that does is gives those that are signed on the rights to use the blind as if they were the owner, basically says if you get to your blind before shooting hours, you can ask anyone that is occupying your blind to leave. After shooting hours, you are outta luck, need to go find someplace else even if you are the owner.

After shooting hours, empty blinds are fair game for others to use.

I believe there is a limit of 8 in a blind shooting at one time.

Yep....

Also, anyone that signs on, cannot remain in the draw for another blind. If their name is drawn and they are a "sign on" with someone else already.... they are out and another ticket will be pulled from the barrel.

Where are you going to try drawing, just out of curiosity? 6 of us from church and maybe one of their fathers are going to Reelfoot again this year.

We are going to Gooch.
From what I gather you gotta get a top 10 or it's a waste of time.

Dunno, never been there.
In fact this will be my very first time to go to the drawings.
