I assume they had this posted somewhere but I don't recall.
I assume if you are drawn, or not, you will receive notification via email?

The way I understand it you will receive an email if you get drawn. Someone in my draw group has talked to the people doing the drawing. They will draw and email the winners today. It will be Done in alphabetical order of the WMAs.

I am not sure but guessing you will not get an email if you don't get drawn. But you can go to the TWRA website that you entered for the draw. It is saying Pending now. It will change to Unsuccessful or Successful when the draw is completed.

I will probably check the app about 100 times today then. I kinda enjoy this part of the season. Starting to plan fall trips. The excitement seeing what quota hunts you were drawn for and if you drew a blind. I always put in for Missouri managed hunts also and they draw mid August so I have a few weeks here where I wait to see what all I drew.

Imagine the anxiety several are going to have once they realize that their sister in law across the state gets drawn for a top blind. The thought of building, brushing, and working decoys yet having no card to the spot is going to be rough to stomach.

I find it mind boggling that they couldn't set the draw up to where you could submit individually but have a group ID so sign ons could immediately be entered under the blind winner.

AGREED, but have been told not to complain about it.....

Or that individuals are able to be drawn, regardless of party orientation.

You know, like putting your name into a barrel?

The point is, 99.5% show up to the blind draw with a group. By allowing sign ons either in person or via computer, more blinds become available for other groups.

I'm not saying individuals can't put in. But what happens when 10 individuals who usually would take one blind get 3?

We have one HECK of a party at my house!!!!!

If we get three of the blinds we put in for I will take a leave of absence and the other two guys that are retired will guide every day of the season. :D :rotf:

Exactly. Or how 8 guys could put in as a party and all the names would have a chance at getting drawn not just one. Problem solved

Don't you dare use logic for these types of discussions. Its frowned upon.

There will be a lot of blinds 'barely' brushed this year. A lot of blind jumping will result in some words and scuffles too.

It seems as if there is about a 10 min delay in finding out your unsuccessful via the app and receiving an email stating you are unsuccessful

So emails are showing up before app shows?

No, for me the app showed that I was a loser before I received an email.

One of the guys in our group got drawn for Blind #3 at Cheatham. I'll be out there late December through January a time or two.

So I wonder if the posted results show the 2nd draw. Seems like I remember you still had a shot to draw outside your 24 picks—the system would assign until they were all gone.
