i went to basspro in sevierville this weekend and they had it, so i would say that all stores are carrying it. BUT, you have to have an enclosed 209 primer plug to shoot it. no good for a T/C black diamond which i have.

I shot it out of my black diamond and it worked fine.

i wonder if the black diamond nipple type is a safety issue or an ignition issue? surely it wouldnt be a safety issue, cause blackhorn is supposed to burn at lower pressure.

have you had any ignition problems or accuracy compared to other powders you have used in your rifle? do you have a lot of black blast around the breech plug using 209 primers with this powder?

sorry for many questions but i really want to use this powder. 777 is great but it is nasty and sucks a lot of moisture from the air.

Im sorry I cant answer your questions. I just loaded it up with the blakhorn 1 time and I shot a dead bullseye from 100yds. It ignited very fast and shot fine. I did not notice any blowback during cleaning. . I am hunting with my omega this season, so thats the only thing I can tell you from 1 shot.

I bought my Blackhorn at Bass Pro. Sportsmans Warehouse had shelf tags but never had it.

Just a side note on the Sportsman Warehouse don't know if you checked or if they did as the one Chattanoga did,(could be said for other places as well) check both the ML ection and the Reloading Powders. They had it in the reloading section in chattaonga a couple weeks back but were out in the ML.
