Only the second black squirrel I've treed
This one came from Knox county

That would make a cool mount especially with a grey. TFS

We went to Canada up around Toronto years ago. All the squirrels were black. It was odd for sure.

I'm wondering if this trait is starting to spread. I've always seem them in Canada, but started seeing them where I hunt in southeastern Ohio last year. Now they are starting to show up in East TN.

I know where 2 different groups of the melanistic gray squirrels are one in sevier county the other in knox county. I have been told both groups were introduced from Michigan years ago.
