killed a almost solid black fox squirrel this morning

Don't know about down here in TN,but up in Northern OH thats all there are is fox squirrel's,very very few greys up there.And the black fox squirrels are fairly common up there.

I used to be stationed at Naval Weapons Station Goose Creek (Charleston) SC. I have seen them marked orange/rust colored with brown in Middle TN,marked like a raccoon in SC and black in East TN. Man you see those things in so many different colors.

That'd be a cool one to mount.

About 35 miles southwest of my town is Kenton, tn and there home of the white squirrels.

I used to live in Union City Tn on highway 22 going towards Reelfoot Lake and i used to see a white squirrel all the time in a persons yard. Came by one day and it was ran over. Wish now i would have stopped and got it and had it mounted. You could tell it had just been ran over.

THE fox squirrels in ohio dont look like the ones we have here they are solid red where ours have the black face and white feet

I killed one like that at aedc last year.
